The Peace of Christ
The crux of Jesus’ message is shared in the context of a meal. Today, we share a special meal–the Eucharist–and this meal strengthens us to seek to know more about Christ and to share what we know about him with others. God’s peace is born of justice and love–beyond human understanding. It’s our baptismal responsibility to bring this peace to the whole world.
For the Third Sunday of Easter, we think about how Jesus is present to us today. We respond to the Risen Lord by talking to people about him and by bringing peace to our world.
