The Gift of a Beloved Son
Three of Jesus’ disciples get a glimpse of what’s to come in the life of Jesus. They see Jesus glorified, which will be his eternal state after the Resurrection. Since it is just a glimpse, a preview of what will happen to Jesus, it’s a message from God about who Jesus is–a most beloved Son who is both God and man — and about transcendence. How can we listen to Jesus this week? Which of his teachings can we try to follow?
